Ich liebe fröhliche, kindgerechte und entspannte Mathematik mit Kindern im Kindergartenalter. Denn das ist eine riesige Chance für die gesamte Entwicklung von Kindern, weit über Zahlen lernen hinaus! Ich bin Mutter von zwei Kindern, die 2004 zu den ersten gehörten, die in das Zahlenland von Dr. Gerhard Friedrich reisen konnten. Seitdem gebe praxisorientierte Fortbildungen für ErzieherInnen zu Komm mit ins Zahlenland, gespickt mit Tipps für pragmatische, preiswerte Materialien und für individuelle Zahlenland Projekte. Seit 2011 bin ich Co-Autorin von Komm mit ins Zahlenland, dem Beststellerbuch im Herder Verlag (bald 80tausend verkaufte Bücher). Mein Wirkungskreis weitet sich kontinuierlich international aus, begleitet von englischsprachigen Materialien. Ich durfte das Zahlenland auf mehreren internationalen Konferenzen zum Thema Literacy vorstellen, auch bei der Stiftung Lesen. Ach ja, zur Familie gehören neben den zwei Kindern noch mein Mann und ein Hund, außerdem dem die Liebe zur Musik, zum Meer und zur Natur allgemein.
